A HARARE man, Action Nyamayaro, yesterday stunned the magistrates’ court when he revealed his former wife, Pamela Makichi, would demand to engage in sex with him despite the presence of his son with whom they were sharing a single room.
The Newsday reported that Nyamayaro told Harare magistrate Trevor Nyatsanza that Makichi would sometimes get possessed to the extent of demanding to engage in sex with him throughout the night, blaming evil spirits for her actions.
He told the court that Makichi resorted to physical and verbal abuse after realising he had refused to marry her.
“We dated from May to June this year, but I endured a series of physical attacks from her. She pulled my private parts, scolded and destroyed my property after I had refused to accede to her demands to marry her,” Nyamayaro claimed.
“The funny thing is that her violence would only start to change after midnight, usually between 2am to 3am when she would demand for continuous sex until morning. When I confronted her about it, she said it was an evil spirit.”
