WTF AFRICA- WITCHCRAFT SCARE

Troubled by the recurrence of dreams that always revealed some hidden witchcraft substances at her homestead, Mrs Simbarashe Sipiwe Chimonyo finally stumbled upon suspected witchcraft objects and instruments, including bottles with strange liquid planted in one of her security houses at Morson Farm in Makoni, Manicaland Province.

Shocked by the strange developments allegedly planted by one of her employees, Mrs Chimonyo took a bold decision and collected the evidence and presented it before Chief Makoni’s traditional community court session.

Narrating her ordeal, Mrs Chimonyo alleged that her former security guard was responsible for planting all the juju substances at her homestead as she.

Whilst many people agree that witchcraft exist, the country’s laws does not acknowledge the existence of such practices.

The Witchcraft Suppression Act criminalises anyone who brands someone a witch or a wizard.

As for Mrs Chimonyo, she will continue to keep custody of the evidence until the allegedly wizard is brought before Chief Makoni’s traditional court.

Efforts to get a comment from Chief Makoni and the accused were fruitless.

  1. Africans always do a lot of witchcraft. That’s why we Caribbean’s need to be careful of them. They put witchcraft in your food and drink. This is seen in a lot of the Nollywood Movies. Nigerians do this a lot.
