An 11-year-old boy was shot dead in his Clarendon community by unknown assailant/s on Wednesday.
He has been identified as Steven Williams, of Fourth Street, New Bowen in the parish.
Reports are that about 8:15 pm, residents heard explosions and summoned the police. On arrival, the lawmen reportedly found Williams near his home with gunshot wounds.
He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No motive has yet been established for the shooting.

When all this senseless killing gonna stop? They are killing women and children on a daily basis.
What can an 11 yr old do to an adult to warrant this act? Or they had issue with the parent(s) it’s too much now…I don’t even click these threads when it’s about children been killed. It breaks my heart how children’s are now targets in jamaica.
Who said the killing was done by an adult? Young boys have access to guns more so now than ever before. The 11-year old might not have been the target of the shooting or might have been accidentally shot. Have you notice with all these shooting incidents, the people always heard gun shots and call the police, when in reality, they witnessed the actual shooting.
