Crime figures obtained by RJR News show that August is the bloodiest month so far this year.
Figures show that 168 persons were murdered, the highest recorded for a month since the May 2010 West Kingston operation.
One thousand and thirty seven murders were recorded between January 1 and August 31. This is up from 824 during the same period last year.
Two hundred murders were committed in St. James, followed by Clarendon with 107.
……and the saddest part about it is the amount of children who got killed during the crossfire, or…… just because. It sad bad. Tears for the little ones who lost their lives innocently.
