An 18-year-old Canadian woman was earlier this week slapped with several charges for alleged breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.

According to the Narcotics Division, Akilah Grant, a sales associate from Toronto, was charged with possession of cocaine, dealing in cocaine, taking steps preparatory to export cocaine and conspiracy to export cocaine is. Reports are that about 4:35 pm on Sunday, Grant was about to board a plane when she was stopped and searched; police officers reportedly found four rectangular parcels wrapped in transparent plastic containing cocaine in her suitcase.
