There was an increase in police personnel outside the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court for the appearance of alleged Tivoli Gardens area leader Leighton Livity Coke, and six other accused on Friday morning.
Following an incident on their last court appearance, the Police High Command indicated that security would be increased in and around the precincts of the Parish Court during high profile court cases.
A supporter of the accused reportedly issued a threat against a Parish Court Judge.
The judge is expected to rule on Friday whether the seven accused will be granted bail.
They are accused of the murder of Patrick Davis, the alleged leader of the Screamers Gang in Denham Town on March 12.
