A man who was out on bail on a rape charge, on Wednesday had his bail revoked when he appeared in the St. Elizabeth Parish Court.
The court heard that on Friday, Wayne Thompson was seen by the complainant in a culvert close to her home.
As a condition of his bail he was not to have any contact with the woman.
The complainant reported the matter to the police.
When the police arrived, Mr. Thompson was searched.
A bag containing a piece of rope, a knife and a chemical were reportedly found.
Documents identified as belonging to the complainant were also found inside the bag.
In his defence, Mr. Thompson told the court he was given the documents.
He is scheduled to return to court on September 10.
The complainant and Mr. Thompson had been in a relationship.
