President Obama rounded off his visit to Jamaica shortly after concluding a town hall meeting the University of the West Indies . The president was asked an array of questions which included being asked about Jamaica’s debt to the IMF been written off. While the President applauded the PNP for following the IMF guidelines, he alluded to the fact that the IMF was known to have written off debts in a few countries but had found out later that those countries were guilty of corruption and money was stolen. In Jamaica’s case the president stated that some of the funds were not utilized efficiently to the benefit of the people. The President’s next stop is said to be Panama
