AMERICAN WOMAN ON HUNT FOR LOTTERY SCAMMER DIED FROM MULTIPLE STAB WOUNDS TO THE UPPER BODY

A post-mortem has been conducted on the body of the American woman who was murdered in Montego Bay, St. James two weeks ago.

It revealed that 68-year-old Heidi Ann Muth died from multiple stab wounds to the upper body. The body has been released to Ms Muth’s family.

RJR News reported on Friday that US agents have joined local police in the hunt for lottery scammers who have been linked to Ms. Muth’s murder.

The body of the retired school teacher from California was found with stab wounds on a dirt track in Ironshore on September 10.

Mrs Muth was murdered two days after she arrived in the island. A senior investigator told RJR News that the American was lured to Jamaica by lottery scammers in Montego Bay. It is understood that Mrs Muth wired money to Jamaica last year after being told by the scammers that she had won the lottery.
