ANOTHER COCAINE BUST

Narcotics detectives, working with their counterparts at the Contraband Enforcement Team (CET) of Jamaica Customs, seized 30 million dollars’ worth of cocaine at a wharf in Kingston yesterday.

Reports are that about 8:40 pm, members of the CET were conducting operations at the facility during which they searched a refrigerated container and found 24 rectangular parcels, each containing cocaine.

The narcotics police were contacted and the drug, which weighs 26.7 kilograms, was processed and secured. The investigation so far has revealed that the container arrived in the island earlier the same day from Suriname.

No one was arrested in relation to this seizure.

The investigation continues.

    1. JCF is a joke! In the majority of cases suuch as this no one is arrested. How are crime rates going to be brought dowm if they cant use simple survelance techniques to apprehend these smugglers. The drugs, lotto scammming and corruption is what is causing the majority of the crime in Jamaica.
One has to ask the question…Who are the persons behind all of this?
Is it persons with connections to the JCF?

      1. Has to be! Cause no one needs rocket science in getting a lead and making an arrest. Just watch out for who comes to pick up. Easy peezy!
