The Court Management Services (CMS) disclosed a short while ago that the Corporate Area Parish Court (Criminal Division) has been closed prematurely for the day at 2:00pm following a bomb threat.
The CMS said that the threat was called in to the Half Way Tree Police Station, and staff and members of the public were instructed to evacuate the building while the police team conducted their investigations.
As a result all matters scheduled for today has been adjourned and parties issued new dates to return to court.
“We ask for the patience and understanding of members of the public as we work with the Police to ensure the safety and security of all users of the Court,” the CMS stated.
