VIOLENCE ESCALATING IN EAST KINGSTON

At least one injured in East Kingston violence

At least one person has been hospitalised with bullet wounds as the violence continues in sections of East Kingston.

The area has been tense over the last week as rival gunmen from Oliver Road in Rockfort and neighbouring Jarrett Lane in Mountain View Avenue engage in shootouts.

An armoured unit was hit as it patrolled the communities.

It is reported that projectiles struck the unit as gangsters shot at each other.

Residents have taken steps to protect their lives and property with some roads leading into Norman Gardens and surrounding areas barricaded with debris.

They say this is necessary to halt the movement of criminals who might contemplate drive-by shootings.

On Monday, when RJR News visited the communities, the residents said they felt like prisoners in their homes as any trip outside could be their last.

But at least one resident from Mountain View Avenue expressed confidence that the violence can end if more police and soldiers are deployed to maintain order in the communities.

Additional police and soldiers have been already deployed to sections of Mountain View Avenue and Rockfort in response to the violence.

  1. That community can’t tame. Garrisons are a fking CANCER – slowly spreading to other communities. Total destruction is the only solution.

My recommendations may seem draconian but history shows WORLDWIDE that there is only one outcome for these communities created through politics.

These Garrisons need to be BULLDOZED/BOMBED/ERADICATED – the residents removed and then start over from scratch. Sounds harsh but yuh can’t have yuh cake and eat it same time.

  2. Bomb it, flatten it if they refuse to change. Scrape up all the men who are not working , finger print them lock them up in some training facility to learn a skill. If they dont follow through lock them up or kill them. Enough 2018 and these morons still out here with this fake gangsta crap. Isn’t this area Paulwell’s constituency ?
