Pinky post for me please so I bought a birthday suit from creep in closet at sovereign village the one in portmore to be exact it’s for my God daughter the day the suit was delivered at my home I text the same night and told her that the mommy said she doesn’t want it if she could exchange she said yes bear in mind the blouse is white . So we went to the store the young men there was pleasant he asked if we want any assistance I told him what we came about and he said ok and show us the clothes rack for the babies meanwhile he was assisting someone else .I took up a shorts for the baby I saw a price that mark 3500 I said to the cashier is this the price for the shorts bear in mind I went to nuff store and the price on the clothes sometimes diff wen you ask , the cashier was speaking to her friend a must her friend cause they were talking good and all that with attitude that unprofessional cashier said yes and a make up her face and hand gesture also and turn away
And go straight back to the conversation I felt disrespect beacause I ask her nicely. We took up a shorts she said they dont do exchange on white I said ok I will take the short only n bear the loss . Her facial expression is nasty no customer service at all not even a smile nu on her face wen u enter .so I turn to her and say bear in mind you need dome customer service you’re dealing with customers remember in my polite tone she hiss her teeth at me I keep telling her over and over again you need customer service . Her reply was she na make nobody diss her n fan we off , Jamaica has the worst customer service ever creep in closet at sovereign yall need a diff cashier she has no customer service at all the short black one yall know unu employee I didnt get to take her name maybe she wouldn’t even gave it to me sigh I felt disrespect pls post
This is normal in Jamaica there is no such thing as customer service the sales people in stores are rude and disrespectful and will ignore you will talking to their friends.
Hush. Not just Jamaica. Here too …. Especially if a food place and especially if the boss a feel dem up after hours. Smh. I won’t complain to their boss because I don’t want anyone to lose their job but I will definitely tell them to their face that they are rude. Smh
you said you interrupted her speaking to someone else and you feel disrespected? Can bet you were the one giving all the attitude, if an employee disrespects you, it’s not for you to harass them and follow them around telling them about customer service, take up that with the management! Write to them or call customer service lol low the gal, some customers a crosses tuh

I don’t find the customer service in Jamaica as bad as ppl say. It is definitely not like customer service in the US or Canada which can come off seeming fake or overbearing at times. It is more like customer service in Europe or South America. You do get the service, and help you need, but no smile or over attention. I know some ppl love the over attention, because it makes them feel special, but if you don’t get it, that doesn’t mean the service was necessarily bad.
For this particular case I will agree with the sender that staff should not be having personal conversations on the floor during work hours. If they need to have personal conversations it should be on their break or lunch time. The moment you are on the floor your full attention should be focused on the work you are being paid to do.
