Two men are in custody following a multi-million dollar cocaine seizure along the Causeway in the vicinity of the Portmore Toll Plaza in St. Catherine.
Detectives from the Narcotics Division were conducting operations when they intercepted a car with two men aboard.
The vehicle was searched and two packages containing 2.3 kilograms of cocaine valued at $2.7 million reportedly found.
Donavan Cascoe, a 44 year old taxi operator of Milk River, Clarendon and 46 year old Kirk Robinson of the same address, were subsequently charged with breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
They are scheduled to appear in the St. Catherine Parish Court on Friday.
