CUMBERLAND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS BROKE PRINCIPAL’S WINDSCREEN

Teachers at the Cumberland High School are withholding their services after a female third form student threw a stone through the back windscreen of the principal’s car.

Reports are that the student was reacting to being reprimanded by the Principal Michael Brydson just before dismissal of school on Friday evening.

The teachers withdrew their services in protest this morning.

One teacher who spoke on behalf of the staff said that they are in fear after parents came to the school and threatened them.

However, the teacher said they will continue to protest throughout the week.

Reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that senior teachers at the institution are currently locked in a meeting with Brydson.

More information later.
