The Seaview Gardens police are now probing the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a foetus, which was today retrieved from the Seaview Gardens Sewage Plant in Kingston 11.
Reports are that about 8:00 am, an employee found the foetus and summoned the police. A post mortem is to be conducted.
Meanwhile, investigators are appealing to anyone who has information that can assist in the probe to contact them at 901-9423, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station. Persons may also give information by downloading the Stay Alert app, which is available free in the Google Play store.
