HANOVER MURDER SUSPECTS TURN THEMSELVES IN

Two persons who were being sought for questioning in connection with Wednesday’s double murder in Cold Spring, Hanover, are now in police custody.

They turned themselves in Friday morning.

Superintendent Sharon Beeput, head of the Hanover Police, says 53 year-old Kenneth Heman and his nephew, 40 year old Frank Birch, were ambushed as they walked home.

Reports are that about 2 o’clock Wednesday morning, Mr. Heman was at home when he got news that his nephew was in a drunken state and was behaving in a disorderly manner at a shop in the community.

He reportedly went in search of his nephew, located him and was taking him home when they were attacked by men with handguns.
