A man is in police custody following the seizure of a homemade firearm and three rounds of ammunition in Hanover.
The firearm was seized during an operation on Church Lane in Sandy Bay on Thursday.
It is reported that about 3 a.m., a house occupied by a man was searched and the weapon found in a room.
He was subsequently arrested.
