Humility! It’s a must for where you’re headed
Life is littered with setbacks, delays, disappointments, haters and oppressors, but do you know that while these things were devised by Satan, they are allowed by God to humble you?
Humility is the most frequent and repetitive lesson that is allowed by God but supervised by Satan. God’s intent is to condition you to serve others where he will eventually position you in the future. Satan’s intent is to condition you with the mind set of believing you should be served.
Scripture tells us that a servant is not greater than his master, John 13:16. The revelation in this scripture is simply this, whenever you believe that you are greater than the authority that was set over you then it would have been at that same time humility would have eluded you and the spirit of pride will now begin the process of dominating you.
In spite of how it may appear there is always a reward for humility, in fact scripture reminds us of the following, “By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honor, and life” Proverbs 22:4.
I want to say to someone this morning that in spite of the delays, setbacks, disappointments, disadvantage, and whatever else the enemy is hurling at you, God is still the one allowing it for your benefit! Now, isn’t that amazing, the sacrifice of humility coupled with the fear of the Lord in whatever it is that you’re up against will produce for you riches, honor and an extension of your life.
Again, the spiritual law is clear, and that is riches, honor and life will be to him who embraces humility along with their fear of the Lord.
The lord wants me to inform someone this morning to Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, and he may exalt you in due time, 1 Peter 5:6.
