INTERNET INTERRUPTIONS CAUSED DELAYS AT CUSTOMS

Interruptions in internet service yesterday resulted in delays in the processing of cargo at Jamaica Customs Agency.

Jamaica Customs has issued a statement apologising for the problems in clearing goods and says it is working with the internet service provider to rectify the situation.

Jamaica Customs says Kingston Wharves and other operators extended operations to prevent a pile-up of goods.
