REHOBOTH- GOOD MORNING

He became a very rich man, and his wealth continued to grow. He acquired so many flocks of sheep and goats, herds of cattle, and servants that the Philistines became jealous of him. So the Philistines filled up all of Isaac’s wells with dirt. These were the wells that had been dug by the servants of his father, Abraham. Genesis 26:13 – 15

Not everyone who has an inheritance that was left for him or her by his or her father is able to actually lay hold of the inheritance; there are long drawn legal battles that may even out-live those who filed them because the courts are unable to conclusively rule on them. Abraham was a good man who left behind a lot of wealth for both his son of promise, Isaac, and others who grew up in his household. Now, Abraham had dug wells while he sojourned in the land of the philistines but when the philistines became intimidated by the fact that Isaac had grown and become more powerful than them, they drove him from their land and he migrated to the planes of Gerar. There Isaac began digging new wells.

But then the shepherds from Gerar came and claimed the spring. “This is our water,” they said, and they argued over it with Isaac’s herdsmen. So Isaac named the well Esek (which means “argument”). Isaac’s men then dug another well, but again there was a dispute over it. So Isaac named it Sitnah (which means “hostility”). Abandoning that one, Isaac moved on and dug another well. This time there was no dispute over it, so Isaac named the place Rehoboth (which means “open space”), for he said, “At last the LORD has created enough space for us to prosper in this land.” (Genesis 26 – NLT)

There are people who have been trying to get their divine inheritance for years since they got born again without success but this year they finally got it. Your divine inheritance might be a new job, a new business, a new house, a new car, children, spouse and so many other good things that life has to offer. Right now, I want you to take time and thank God for every good thing that you have accomplished this year, in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank God because in the race of life, it is not him that willeth or runeth but of God to show mercy; God’s mercy gave you the job you so desperately needed or the child that you have been yearning to have.

Liberation thought: God is good and His mercies are forever.

Prayer:

O God of Dr. Chris Okafor lift my head let me be above and never go down
Every inheritance that I have lost I command a recovery now in Jesus name
Father Lord catapult me to the realm of more than enough
