SUH POLICE NUH BRING DI FILE GO COURT FI MAVADO SON? ..

The court appearance of the 16 year old son of dancehall entertainer Mavado was delayed Wednesday after investigators failed to submit the case file to the St. Andrew Parish Court.

His attorney, Bert Samuels, told RJR News that this affected the listing of the case.

As a result, the judge was unable to set a date for the teenager’s appearance.

Mr. Samuels said his team went to court Wednesday morning after being informed by the police that the file would have been submitted for a possible bail application.

The teenager and 23 year old Andre Hines were charged last week with the murder of Lorenzo Thomas, in Cassava Piece, St. Andrew.

Investigators reported that, on June 5, men armed with guns, machetes and gasoline, invaded Mr. Thomas’s home.

He was shot, chopped and his body set ablaze by the men.

The police say Mavado’s son and Mr. Hines were a part of the group.
