TAXI DRIVER AND PASSENGER KILLED IN ST THOMAS

Gunmen struck last night in Montpelier, Yallahs, St. Thomas leaving a taxi driver and one of his passengers dead.

They have been identified as Jerome Bogle of Aeolus Valley and Jevaughn Russell of Pondside both in St. Thomas.

Shortly after 10 o’clock, a robot taxi was travelling from Aeolus Valley to Yallahs with four passengers.

When the vehicle reached Montpelier two male passengers exited and opened fire hitting Mr Bogle, who was the driver, and Mr. Russell. They died at the scene. The other passenger was not harmed.

RJR News has been informed that Mr. Russell was released from police custody last weekend. He was held for questioning in a recent robbery.
