Teenager chopped to death allegedly by mad man
A teenaged girl was chopped to death by a man believed to be of unsound mind along Washington Boulevard in Kingston yesterday.
Up to late last night, details surrounding the incident were still unclear. However, the police’s Corporate Communications Unit said the deceased female is 17 years old, and that the incident was believed to be unprovoked.
The Duhaney Park police, who were still processing the scene at press time last night, said the fatal ordeal took place around 4 p.m.
The alleged perpetrator was taken into custody, and will be charged shortly. Investigations are ongoing.
This is the second time in two months that a man of unsound mind is being accused of murder.
In October, Bruce Walters, 60, of Hague in Trelawny was beheaded at his home, allegedly by a mentally challenged man.
we need to do something about them fi real, especially the ones who are prone to violence, this man will probably be sentenced to a mental institution, he needs proper care and meds.
