I have a kid with a guy ,when I called him to say I’m pregnant he told me he can’t talk right now ,because he had another woman pregnant and was living with him ,I moved on and took care of my son all by myself,I migrated to Canada,after 18 years he contacted me ,I don’t k ow how he got my number,our son turns 18 going on 19, he ask forgiveness and I did forgive him,we then started to date again,in 2014 ,in 2015 he say he wants to marry me ,I accept but I ask him to give me an engagement party which he did ,anyway we got married in 2016 ,I told him I will never sponsor him to come to Canada ,he agreed,things were going very nice between his family and mind ,until his ex girlfriend,the same one he left me for heard about us and start making confusion between his family and I,I would go home every 4 months to meet him,I would send stuff for his mother when I go home I would give her money ,my husband eldest sister curse me for his ex girlfriend and I didn’t play with her I told her all I know about them ,long story short ,I was back home in April 2019 and my husband mom passed away,the same sister organized the funeral and didn’t put my name as a daughter in law ,and I didn’t go to the funeral,do you think I did the right thing ,mind you my husband say I rite not to attend ,so as we speak my husband and none of his family do not speak ,he said who is against his wife is against him ,waiting for your response and I will like you to post it also
It’s going to be hard having your husband so far away from you, I’m sure you’ll eventually take him to Canada to live with you.
Don’t worry about not attending the funeral…we have all made wrong decisions, in the heat of the moment.

What a strange tale. I think the family was being nice in the beginning because they thought foreign was going to happen, but now that it appears to not be the real feelings are coming forward. I don’t think many families really like their in-laws, have seen this shit too many times to count. I can’t stand divisions and fake smiling and all that shit. I need a real loving family life. After being in relationship with him for 3 years,he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused.
