The St James police have confirmed that four persons, including an eight-year-old child, were shot dead in the Richmond Hill community, in Cambridge, St James this morning.
Preliminary reports are that about 2:00 am, residents heard loud explosions and called the police. It is said that upon the arrival of the lawmen, the bodies of two men, a woman and the child was discovered with gunshot wounds.
A strong police presence is now in the area as investigators comb the scene.
