CONDUCTOR IN DEADLY ST ANNS CRASH IN POLICE CUSTODY

THE bus conductor who was allegedly driving the public passenger bus that was involved last Friday’s deadly bus crash in St Ann is in police custody.

The man, accompanied by his attorney Ernest Smith, turned himself over to the St Ann police on Sunday night.

Five people were killed when the bus developed mechanical problems and crashed on the Llandovery main road.

Police said the driving shaft of the vehicle broke, causing it to overturn.

  1. Gm all,they also charging the bus owner who is a female cop.They should throw the book at her cuz she was the one cutting corners rather than properly fixing the drive shaft.

  2. Sad situation. The list that MET posted the other day needs to be enforced ASAP. We need more accountability and stiff punishments. These are peoples lives at risk. I understand the need to have a livelihood but not at the cost of innocents.
