KINGSTON, Jamaica– Lead prosecutor in the Vybz Kartel murder trial Jeremy Taylor Thursday described the defence’s claim of a letter penned by the prosecution’s star witness as a conspiracy.

“This letter is a blatant forgery, it is a concoction, it is a conspiracy by the defence,” Taylor said.

In the letter the witness allegedly claimed he saw Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams after August 16, 2011, the day the police claim that Williams was beaten to death.

Taylor said if the witness did in fact pen the letter he would not have turned up in court and stuck to his original statement.

“This is bogus hocus-pocus that they want to hoist on this court,” he said.

  1. The letter was real. All the experts agree the letter was real. Need to find out if the letter was written under duress. The prosecutor use the same expert to win a case, so no use in trying to discredit him.

    1. That same prosecutor use that same expert to win a case ? I thought the expert said he worked for the crown in cases before, meaning the state .

Even if the letter was written by the person it can be declared a fraud since the person under sworn testimony and cross examination stuck with a story that has been backed up by the text and other sources .

  2. The letter was real? In all my days I’ve yet to see anyone who is capable of spelling some fairly complex words and not their own name!

    1. The expert ( who the prosecutor use before) with years of experience easily came to the conclusion that it was the same person. The prosecutor could not even find one expert to give a different opinion

      1. That same expert explained that the person must have been in a hurry to get away from the letter so he forgot how to spell his name..and that sounds plausible to you?
Common sense dictates that if you take the time to sit and construct such an elaborate tale, you want to at the very least make it known who the letter comes from by signing your name….and if you can’t spell your own name, that makes it you??

        1. people who know about people and signatures would know that a person can make their letter smaller or larger but not leave off a whole letter..

          1. If him did haffi write it under duress, spelling his name wrong was God’s way of pointing out that everything was not right

      2. You mean the same way the defense could not find a single Gazalite to testify on behalf of the worl boss or the fact that not a person on planet Earth could have provided an alibi?

          1. How about an industry friend? Another high name recognition person? Even OJ had another star football player testify on his behalf. Nobody to offer character witness for this man. No business partner. That in itself speaks volume.

  3. instead of just looking in the box everyone needs to look outside of the box. conspiracy runs the world. wake up you sleeping sheeps all of you are behind time, life is sure passing you by. this is just a big distraction to take your minds off the real agenda and this very thing sure isn’t a conspiracy.

  4. sometimes u av to play fool to catch the wise. Wat if he intentionally left out the w in his name because he WAS writing the letter under duress…….in his mind, if he spells his name wrong and writes jibberish, then its, not true, in his mind what he is writing under duress, isn’t true!! So he’s not going to properly endorse it, by signing his correct name AND if “big” words are used also, that clearly shows he has a wide vocabulary. To compound on my point, the “expert” also stated in his opinion the person who wrote this was in a hurry to get away from the letter!!!!!!! Someting nuh right…..no pun intended!!!

This is just me delving into the psyche-e, Oonu doa come kill aff me comment, lol! :nerd
