LOTTERY SCAMMERS ARRESTED IN ST ELIZABETH

Two men pleaded guilty to knowingly possessing identity information when they appeared before the St Elizabeth Circuit Court on Thursday.

The men are 20-year-old auto-mechanic Triston Tomlinson and 21-year-old farmer Domar Robinson, both of Bigwoods in Darliston, Westmoreland.

Reports are that on Thursday, January 2, 2014 about 10:00 am, members of the St Elizabeth Proactive Investigation Unit (PIU) were patrolling along High Street in Black River, when they observed two men acting in a manner that aroused their suspicions.

Both men were accosted and found to possess identity information of people living in the United States of America.

They were subsequently arrested and charged.

The court has ordered a social enquiry report and sentencing is set for Friday, June 26.

The police say that this has brought the total number of convictions in the parish by the St Elizabeth
