Usher’s insurance company won’t pay for herpes lawsuit against him
Usher’s insurance company says it will not pay for the $20 million herpes lawsuit against him if he loses because his policy doesn’t cover STDs.
New York Marine and General Insurance Company filed legal documents that claim the firm is not obligated to defend him in the lawsuits claiming that he concealed the disease from multiple s*xual partners.
The company also claims he hid a previous lawsuit related to the s*xually transmitted infection, which he’s thought to have settled in 2012 for $1.1 million.
So far, three victims claim to have had unprotected s*x with the singer, including two women and a man.
One of the victims held a press conference on Monday detailing the night of their encounter.
Usher is yet to issue a statement about the situation, or even medical proof that he does not have the STD.
